Razer Blackwidow Chroma

Mechanical Keyboards are quite popular nowadays. In fact, they’re so popular that they dominate the keyboard industry. Gone are the days that you use membrane, rubber-domed keyboard that lacks appeal and the clackiness that the mechanical keyboard provides.

razerGamers are especially fond of Mechanical keyboards because of its responsiveness and its tactile feedback. So today, we’re going to take a look at the Razer Blackwidow Chroma edition.

Razer is a gaming peripherals company that has created quality peripherals over the years. With its many iterations, the Blackwidow Chroma is the newest version, complete with new mechanical key switches and the infamous chroma lighting scheme.

The Blackwidow Chroma has the all new Razer green switches, which, according to Razer, has better actuation points and tactile feedback for better gaming performance. The Razer Green switches are like the Mx Cherry Blue switches, only difference is that it has a better actuation point than the Mx Blues.

RGB lighting has been the norm in the past 2 years, and Razer has incorporated that into their new Blackwidow gaming keyboard. You can choose different lighting modes through Razer’s proprietary software called Razer Synapse. Lighting profiles are saved on the Razer Cloud service, so if you want to go to a LAN party for example, you just have to install and login to the Razer Synapse to get your settings in a jiffy. Just make sure you have internet connectivity.

Vince: “Great gaming keyboard all around. No complaints whatsoever. Warning: if you don’t like keyboards with loud clicks, this is not for you. I happen to like the key clicks.”

Chris: “Great keyboard for gaming! I am a youtuber and the silent keys are perfect for little noise while recording. I was going to get the chroma version, but I don’t think it has the option for silent keys (plus I would not spend money just to get rainbow keys lol). Overall, this is a great keyboard. If you are hesitant on buying this, don’t be I promise you won’t regret buying it! :)”

Riza: “Great product. Very responsive compared to my old membrane keyboard. Has slightly improved my game play. Lights up beautifully with my green LED fans and monitor back lighting. If and when this board breaks I will get another one? I like it that much.”
